As you may already know, our development team’s been hard at work on improving the ServiceChannel platform, with usability being one major area of focus.  In particular, we have updated and simplified the user interface (UI), making it easier to navigate.  We’ve incorporated a lot of your feedback already and plan to continue doing so while building out further enhancements.

In addition, in an effort to better tie our terminology to our product capabilities and value, there  have been a few name changes to some of our products and modules (in conjunction with the user interface update).

Below are the details of the key renamings:

New Name (Old Name)
– ServiceChannel Service Automation (ServiceClick)
– ServiceChannel Compliance Manager (Private Network)
– ServiceChannel Analytics (ProView Basic)
– ServiceChannel Custom Analytics (ProView Advanced)
– ServiceChannel Asset Manager (Equipment)
– ServiceChannel Supply Manager (SupplyClick)
– ServiceChannel Payment Manager (EasyPay)
– “Location” (“Store”)

*Please note that we are not changing the ServiceChannel or Fixxbook names.

Resources & Reads

There are a few resources that you may have missed that I thought you might find interesting.

First is a new ebook we recently produced that already has gotten a lot of positive feedback.  8 Financial Reports Every Facilities Manager Needs (and Every CFO Loves) highlights a number of the key metrics we see used across our customer base.  While you’re likely familiar with most of them, there may be a few you wish to consider making part of your standard reporting process.  (Of course, all of these are supported by ServiceChannel Analytics.)

Second is a recent Q&A from Chain Store Age with one of our executives, Varun Sawhney, covering a range of topics from data use and mobile technology in facilities management to the challenges in outsourcing facilities operations.  It’s a quick read with some interesting insights on the sector.

As always, we’d be pleased to discuss any of this with you and explore ways to help you share the benefits of ServiceChannel across your organization.  Your Account Executive would be happy to arrange a time to speak so please don’t hesitate to reach out to your AE, or contact me directly.
