Hawk Industrial Services Maintains the Drive to Achieve Their Goals

Kevin Hawk founded Hawk Industrial Services in 2008. As the owner of this busy Pennsylvania-based repair business, he’s only satisfied when his customers and employees are happy. That’s not always easy. Like any business owner, Kevin is often faced with obstacles. He says, “You need to maintain the drive to achieve your goals after setbacks.” As the owner, Kevin prefers face-to-face contact with customers, but that’s not always possible. “Having ServiceChannel helps us understand our customers’ needs.”

Keeping up with the constant changes in customers' procedures is one of Hawk Industrial Services’s biggest challenges. Kevin uses ServiceChannel to receive service requests from customers, to update job status, and for billing once work is complete. Kevin likes ServiceChannel technology because it provides “the ability to have everything from the original request, the proposal, job-site pictures, the GPS check-in, as well as our own company documents like the service sheets and invoices.”

To train his employees Kevin starts with a set training module and then relies on peer training for more in-depth training. He also supplements with ServiceChannel’s contractor training.

Kevin is a real outdoorsy type. And as is typical for an entrepreneur he loves a challenge. His favorite free-time activities? Hunting, fishing and competitive archery of course!
