ServiceChannel Presents on Business Intelligence at SPECS

Business Intelligence, Events

Recently ServiceChannel had the honor of presenting at the Store Planning and Equipment Construction Services (SPECS) tradeshow in Grapevine, Texas. We were invited to speak alongside GoodData, which is our

Business Intelligence (BI) platform partner. SPECS, held by Chain Store Age magazine, has been meeting for over 50 years. Attendees included architects, real estate executives, construction-industry experts, facilities managers from major retailers, as well as service providers.

My presentation,
“No More Gut Decisions” with Jeff Morris, the Vice President of Product Marketing at
GoodData, overviews using information and data. It is not part of many businesses’ DNA when it comes to making day-to-day operational decisions and, as a result, many businesses make bad decisions based on “gut feelings.”

As a technology leader, ServiceChannel has taken steps to make powerful BI more user-friendly with one click. We got a great response from the SPECS audience, whom we showed:

  • What GoodData does
  • How GoodData powers the ServiceChannel BI platform
  • What kind of reporting Service Channel BI delivers

At SPECS we introduced the new and improved ProView, which is our BI reporting tool now
powered by GoodData.

We showed the attendees how ProView is able to answer the everyday questions that facilities managers are faced with, and how easy it is to go through the data discovery process and be able to get answers quickly and drill down for more related information.

Getting access to comprehensive business analytics in one click, enables our clients to tap into the pulse of their business and use this data to make important business decisions.

As leaders in facilities data and benchmarking, ServiceChannel has been invited to speak at many industry BI forums including The Gartner Business Intelligence and Analytic Summit in Las Vegas.

Have you unlocked the power of your cost and performance data?
